Previously, only Mac OS X Server users had access to VPN servers that supported PPTP and L2TP standards and were built into the OS X system for creating virtual private networks. However, iVPN is now available for non-server Mac users, offering a user-friendly interface to utilize these VPN standards. It is important to note that iVPN should not be used on a Mac OS X Server, as the program's developer warns that it may prevent the use of Server Admin for configuring the VPN server. Using iVPN is straightforward - simply input the client's username and password for connecting to the server, as well as the range of IP addresses that will be allocated to these clients.
